We bought a Wii console when my kids where still too young to play, before we knew it my oldest that was only 3 years old was giving hard time to my husband playing Wii sports.
The safest Wii games that i tried so far are:
-Wii sports that comes with the console, it is so much fun even for moms and it is good quality time spent with the kids.
-Pitfall the big adventure FOR EVERYONE
-TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FOR EVERYONE
-Speedracer have some inappropriate language for kids mute the game audio FOR TEENS
-Iron Man is my kids favorite FOR TEENS
The best thing about Wii games is the remotes, they are wireless so your kids will not be too close to the TV set which is bad for there eyes, there is no messy wires everywhere, and you can put them away very easily .
I use these games as a reward if they behave, do well in home school, they get to play as long as they want.
These games are challenging, they have to follow directions, complete missions and they get to do it while having fun.
Stay away from the games that have a lot of violence, the ones that make your child act weird. No monsters, they will have nightmares. Get them the ones that will interest them, make them be better, behave better, and most importantly be in control so it doesn't become a source of problems but a positive getaway for them.
Being a good mom means providing your child with the love and care that they need, and protecting them from anything that will hurt them. Make sure you make the right choices concerning them, you will be happy with the results.
