PIZZA BUN

Here is a great idea that will make everybody wonder.
Remember that Magic Dough, this dough is slightly different.
DOUGH ingredients:

4 cups of regular flour
1/3 of a cup of wheat flour
1 egg
1 1/2 cup of warm water
1 1/2 tea spoon of yeast
1 tea spoon of sugar
1 table spoon of olive oil
1 tea spoon of salt.
Mix all the ingredients together, knit the dough really well until it is soft and elastic, this dough is not sticky like the magic dough.
Let it rest for 1 hour until it doubles the size.
Preheat the oven at 425 degrees.
Then divide the dough into little balls, size of your balm.
Flatten one at a time on a floured surface. It should be 1/2 inch of width.
For a PIZZA BUN, have the
RED SAUCE ready , and any cheese you like.
Spread 1 tea spoon of red sauce on the flatten dough, and put in the middle 1 table spoon of shredded cheese.
Take the edges of the dough assemble them together , then turn the ball smooth side up and make it a perfect ball , then put it aside and proceed with the rest of the dough.
Spread the balls with a beaten egg then sprinkle some oregano on top.
Bake it for 20 min or until golden brown.
Enjoy hot , trust me your kids will love you and your husband too.
Until next time , enjoy cooking and enjoy your life.

PIZZA ANYBODY?

Who doesn't like the smell of a fresh, out of the oven, crispy, hot, melt in the mouth pizza?
Pizza is the ultimate comfort food. Everybody loves pizza, even kids, or shall i say especially kids.
Imagine you get the perfect recipe for pizza, not just a recipe but the recipe for a perfect piece of melting crispy yumminess.
Your kids will love you, and your husband too.
Remember last week MAGIC DOUGH we are going to use half of that recipe for today's pizza ingredients.
Here are the ingredients for the perfect easy to make RED SAUCE:
-1 Can of tomato sauce.
-1 Table spoon of olive oil.
-1/2 tea spoon of salt.
-1/2 tea spoon of black pepper.
-1/2 tea spoon of garlic powder.
-1/2 tea spoon of onion powder.
-1/2 tea spoon of oregano.
Boil this mixture until it thickens, be careful it will dry and burn fast. Once it's the consistency of a light paste, let it cool, et voila you are done with the pizza sauce.
Now you have the magic dough and the red sauce, all you need is cheese and toppings, that will be your choice what ever you and your family prefer, it can be anything you like.
Now all you have to do, is to assemble your pizza, preheat your oven at 425 degrees.
First take some Semolina or flour if you don't have it, but i prefer Semolina because it gives a crunch to the dough.
Flatten the dough with your hand on a surface sprinkled with Semolina, the dough is very light put enough semolina when ever and where ever it is sticky, form the shape of the pizza pan you are using.
Put the dough in the pan, than put a layer of red sauce enough to cover all the surface of the dough.
After that, sprinkle 2 cups of your favorite cheese (i like the pizza mix but cheddar is fine) on top of the red sauce.
If you are making a cheese pizza, you are done, but if your are making one with toppings , go ahead put them on top of the cheese.
Put the pizza in the middle rack of your preheated oven, and cook it for about 20 to 30 minutes.
That is it, you are done, now you and your family can enjoy a freshly homemade pizza in less time that it will take to order delivery.
Until next time, eat well, live well.
